What is an HTMA test?

HTMA stands for Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. By sending in a teaspoon sized sample of the hair, (don’t worry, it’s not a lot) we are able to see what different mineral values, ratios, and heavy metal levels are in our soft tissue. This gives us so much insight as to what is happening on a cellular level, and relates to several bodily processes such as the health of our nervous system, detoxification, thyroid, adrenals, blood sugar regulation, stress levels- and so much more.

Minerals truly are the building blocks of nearly every bodily process, which is why incorporating the HTMA into a foundational approach is necessary! It helps us get to the bottom of things, combining modern data-driven testing with your own symptom reports and intuitive knowing as to what your body needs. These tools serve as a window for us to peak through, and better understand what’s happening on the inside.
